About The Owner:
West Texas native, Tamara (Tammy) Vaught has 25 years of experience in the healthcare field. She loves her profession as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and has recently become double boarded as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). After four years of working with mental health patients at Ketamine Clinic of West Texas, it became apparent that there were additional needs in the community for a more diverse practice that could serve the people of West Texas more completely in their mental health needs. Tammy is excited about taking her expertise down a new avenue by providing a much-needed service to West Texas.
In her off time, Tammy loves spending time with her family. Whether it be at home with her husband and two kids or hitting the road on vacation with extended family or friends, Tammy loves to connect with people and values experiencing life.

“I have always been passionate about mental health and have enjoyed learning about how to improve my own life and personal interactions by optimizing the way my brain works for me. I opened my clinic in 2017 with the hopes of helping a friend for whom traditional treatment modalities had failed. I was dissatisfied by the often ineffective “available” treatment options, many of which come with burdensome side effects when attempting to treat treatment resistant disorders. It became my mission to seek out additional, novel treatment options which led to my interest in IV ketamine administration. It often produces robust, rapid effects and lacks the dreaded side effects between treatments. I have seen remarkable results with ketamine infusions in my clinic and it is exciting to be able to offer this amazing treatment option”.
