Harming While Healing?: The Oppressive Nature of Psychedelic-Centric Drug Policy
The NMHA and other psychedelic initiatives unfortunately do nothing to alleviate the most malignant symptoms of the disease that is the War on Drugs and the categorization of “good drugs” vs. “bad drugs,” and in this way, these drug policies paradoxically represent the continuation of oppression more than its end. Is the only true difference between the heroin dealer and the ‚Äúpsychedelic entrepreneur‚Äù that one is on a side of the culturally created narrative which happens to be favored at this particular moment in history?
